Re: Have fun- but keep it clean

We're looking forward to seeing all the teams out there too.  It should be a great tournament and one the kids will remember for a long time.  Brackets will be posted tonight. Glad you liked the site too.  It should be a great tool for everyone.  If you have any questions regarding the site....post it on here and we'll answer it for you.

Re: Have fun- but keep it clean

Hey guys,

Quick question.  What's the pitching rules for this weekend since it's a 3 day event.  I know USSSA has changed some things and just want to make sure our teams are squared away going into the weekend.  Thanks and looking forward to it!

Re: Have fun- but keep it clean

Great question.  The pitching for a 3 day tournament is actually the same as a 2 day tournament.  Time to start getting creative with your pitching staff!  Here's the breakdown just so you know.

Age 9U - 12U.  Maximum of 6 innings in a day, maximum of 8 innings for the tournament.  If your pitcher pitches more than 3 innings in a day, they must rest the next day.

Age 13U - 14U.  Maximum of 7 innings in a day, maximum of 8 innings for the tournament.  If your pitcher pitches more than 3 innings in a day, they must rest the next day.

If you have anymore questions....let me know.

Re: Have fun- but keep it clean

Thanks Rick, that's what we thought and we really really like the rule of less innings.  More kids get to pitch and less overuse.  Thanks.
